football games in the snow, the ravens were in the snow and eagles and steelers were in the snow and redskins were in the snow. because we had an overachieving system that produced 2 to 4 inches very close to and into the metro areas. as a matter of fact, all of the snow piles you see here are from that event. today was more of an underachiever. you can see behind me the harbor starting to become visible as the storm lifts out. a few leftover flurries and temperature warmed up. that's the other thing, sunday we were 30 and heavier snow. today we were 32, and light to moderate snow. just all of the different level of what happens in the city, a couple of degrees makes all the difference in the world. that said, you go 20 miles west, 20 miles to my northwest, 40 and 60 miles you're in the brand of 3 to 6 inches of snow and that's what the winter storm had to say. we're going to get cold thursday and friday here. we're going to start getting milder and wetter as we head into the weekend. a new storm developing and this time it looks like it won't be a difficult forecast. for new york, philly, d.
